What to expect at your appointment
Our family of dentists and support professionals are a tight-knit crew who get a buzz out of making you smile. At your first appointment, you’ll be:
- Greeted by our friendly staff in a warm and welcoming environment.
- Complete a medical history form; we need to collect this information not only for your health but also to gain an understanding of your previous dental experiences and treatment to ensure we can plan your treatment.
- Meet with your dentist and discuss your individual needs, requirements and next steps. During your check-up and clean, the dentist will discuss any relevant treatment recommendations with you.
If additional treatment is necessary, they can present you with a treatment plan and discuss the available options.
If you have any concerns about going to the dentist, please discuss this with your dentist, therapist or hygienist.

This package features Opalescence Go prefilled whitening trays (two sets of upper and lower trays) to help you achieve a whiter, more radiant smile from the comfort of your home.
Terms and conditions
The dental hygiene examination offer includes a comprehensive dental examination, oral cancer screening, full scale, clean and polish (to remove stains & plaque), a fluoride treatment (to prevent decay and sensitivity), full mouth photos for your records and a personalised treatment plan (if needed). If bitewing X-rays are needed, these can be provided for an additional $50 (incl GST) per X-ray.
This offer also includes a complimentary take-home teeth whitening package with a retail value of $50 (incl GST). This includes Opalescence Go prefilled whitening trays (2 sets of upper and lower trays included).
This offer is available for $239 (incl GST) and is only available to new patients of 818 Dental. It is only redeemable once per patient. This offer cannot be redeemed for cash and is not transferable to any other treatments.
Please mention to the 818 Dental reception team at the time of booking or at reception to claim.
To ensure you receive the most appropriate treatment, your dentist will evaluate your teeth condition at your appointment to consider whether the treatment included in this offer is suitable for you. If we consider it is not, i.e. you may need alternative/additional treatments, we will offer details of those treatments for you to consider, including details of our standard rates. We will otherwise provide the treatment included in this offer to you at a later agreed date, having regard to your teeth condition.
Our practice accepts all major health funds, and depending on your level of coverage, your health fund might cover a portion of this cost. Please note you will need to check your health fund policy to determine which portion of your fee is covered.
