COVID-19

UPDATE 22nd July 2020

USE OF MASKS In relation to the most recent Covid-19 restrictions being enforced we would like you to know it is business as usual for us. We can continue to see all patients and will notify you immediately if this changes.

As of Thursday 23rd July, the State Government has advised wearing of masks has become mandatory throughout Melbourne and Mitchell Shire. This includes patients, parents/carers, 818 Dental staff, contractors and delivery persons who may visit our clinic. Exceptions are children under 12 years of age and people with a medical condition.

As always, our first priority is the health and safety of our 818 Dental Community. Our preference is for patients to come in on their own for appointments. If a parent/carer chooses to attend the appointment, we ask kindly that you bring your own mask and have in place prior to entering the Practice. Please keep the mask on for the duration of the appointment and until you exit the building. Patients will only remove their mask when being treated and need to re-apply afterwards. We also ask that you take your mask with you to dispose of appropriately.

Unfortunately due to limited supply, 818 Dental is unable to provide a mask for you. Your mask does not need to be a hospital-grade mask. It can be a scarf, a bandana or a homemade washable mask.

As you know we use masks here at 818 Dental on a daily basis. Here is a video link where Dr Lloyd explains some important points of the correct usage of masks.
